I'm surprised it's taken this long, but digital revenue from music has finally overtaken traditional CD sales for the first time (UK)
Of even more significance is revenue from music subscription services such as Spotify were higher than CD sales alone - highlighting the steep decline in our preference for physical media and the need for the continued embrace of differing licensing models required to support these types of services, something with caused the withdrawal of innovative music streaming and preference service Pandora from the UK market in 2008.
